Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is the fifth game in the Ninja Storm series, and is looking to be the best game yet. The game is being made by Bandai Namco and CC2.

They have announced a new mode, the ninja world tournament mode, which allows 4 ninja to fight at once. They also have an original character in the game designed by the series creator kishimoto: Mecha-Naruto. Alongside the original character, they have added the 4 Edo-Kage, fight-able but unplayable in the previous game: Shisui Uchiha, Kushina Uzumaki, Konohamaru Sarutobi, Iruka Umino.

Sage Mode Hashirama Senju, unmasked Obito Uchiha, new movesets for many old characters and possibly new characters which have yet to be announced. They also announced a new mechanic where you can chose between 3 battle types, Ultimate Jutsu, Awakening, and Drive. The first 2 types give you the ability of the same name which was usable in the previous games. The Drive type gives you the ability to use your support characters to the fullest by allowing them to guard for you, attack with you in your combos, and allows you to seal away the opponents battle type ability and substitution bar.

If you wish to try the game for yourself, a demo for the game has been released. The demo lets you play as Tailed beast mode Naruto, the newest versions of Sasuke and Kakashi, and the original character, Mecha-Naruto. The demo has an arcade mode that will always be available, and an online mode that will only be available until July 23.  Some people in the modding community have hacked into the files of the demo and discovered some unannounced information on the game. They have found images for all the characters in the games files at the time the demo was made.

They also found all of the people who have combo Ultimate Jutsu together: Hashirama and Madara, Naruto and Sasuke, Deidara and Sasori, Gaara, Kankuro and Temari, Hidan and Kakuzu, Ino, Shikamaru and Chouji, PTS Naruto, PTS Sasuke and PTS Sakura, PTS Lee, Gai, Konan and Nagato, Neji and Hinata, Hashirama and Tobirama, Hashirama, Tobirama and Hiruzen, Itachi and Shisui, Kakashi and Gai, Young Kakashi, Young Obito and Minato, Naruto, Minato and Kushina, Naruto, Konohamaru and Iruka, Pain and Konan, Raikage and Killer Bee, Sasuke and Itachi, Tsunade, Orochimaru and Jiraiya , Madara and Obito, Naruto and Minato,Naruto and Hinata, and Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura.

The information in the demo is not official so it may be incomplete and more characters may have been added in since the demo was made. Overall, the additions to the game are spectacular and look to make the game best in the series, and from playing the demo I can guarantee that Revolution will be great. The various types allow for infinite new playstyles and variety for players. The game feels deeper with features like guard breaks and counterattacks and the type selection. Revolution is coming out in America on September 16 for Ps3 and Xbox 360 and is not a game to miss.
