Death of XXXTentacion Spikes Ex-Girlfriend’s GoFundMe

During an alleged robbery, XXXTentacion (X) was shot and killed in Deerfield Beach, Florida, on June 18, 2018.

After his death, his ex-girlfriend Geneva Ayala’s GoFundMe page, created to pay for medical bills she incured from X’s alleged abuse in October 2016, has received numerous donations. Since the death of XXXTentacion, Ayala has raised more than $6,000 with her GoFundMe page. The recent donations have brought the total donations to $31,630. Her goal was originally $25,000.

Ayala added a picture of her bloodied black eye to her GoFundMe account, with the post: “There are two fractures in my left eye socket due to an aggressive hit, along with nose and jaw fractures.” Ayala stated that because the bones are fractured, they are puncturing the back of her eyeball and it is creating damage to the Optic nerve, as well as the eye itself.

“The left side of my face has lost some sensation, I cannot feel my upper lip on the left side, and same for my upper teeth on the left side,” according to Ayala’s GoFundMe page. She has also stated that her vision is declining as time goes on, and it is important that she undergoes surgery or her eyeball, the nerve attaching her cheek/lips, and her teeth will die.

According to the Independent, “Concluding her plea, Ayala wrote that she’d appreciate anything as this is a very strenuous obstacle that has been put into my hands.” She attached a summary of her injuries from a doctor on her GoFundMe page as well.

In the court testimony, Alaya gave lengthy details about the abuse she endured while in a relationship with X. She stated that the rapper, whose real name is Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was abusive toward her numerous times.

XXXTentacion“XXXTentacion was charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness tampering,” according to the Independent. When the rapper was killed, he was awaiting trial for charges of domestic abuse, for which he had plead not guilty. He could have faced serious jail time.

Ayala spoke about XXXTentacion’s death. She shared a piece of art of the couple and wrote, “i want to scream at the top of my lungs until i can’t then keep screaming. i don’t want to believe this. no one knows. the sh*t. i feel. for you.”

Ayala later claimed that she was removed from the vigil for the rapper stating: “they kicked me out of the vigil. so d*mn disrespectful. i can’t believe people are that selfish. i wasn’t even there 25 minutes and i literally got pulled away from the memorial. i just wanted to stay. i wasn’t bothering anyone. this is unfair. i’m absolutely devastated. THEY BURNED THE SH*T I LEFT THEY BURNED WHAT I BROUGHT FOR HIM IM SO MAD LIKE IM SCREAMING.”

She later posted a picture of the supposed burned objects. She stated that she left the objects for him and did not bother anyone. She reports that the board, candles, flowers, and glove were placed behind caution tape when someone removed everything and set it all on fire.
