Guillermo Gonzales Jr. Murdered in Miami

Miami-Dade police officers are still searching for the man who shot and killed 26-year-old Guillermo Gonzalez Jr. in his driveway at 3046 NW 26th Street, on Aug. 6, 2017.

Reportedly, a little before midnight, the two men were heard arguing in the driveway. Gonzalez sent his child and pregnant girlfriend into the house, and the other man fired shots, killing Gonzalez instantly.
Police responded to the 911 call, but were unable to locate the shooter.

Witnesses had few details about the man, leaving detective with little leads. On Aug. 8, detectives passed out fliers and knocked on doors in the neighborhood, seeking any information available.

The flyer included a picture of Gonzalez and $3,000 for information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the killer.

According to Detective Argemis Colome, Gonzalez may have been a target, since he was shot in his own driveway and able to send his loved ones inside.

Miami-Dade detectives are asking people to come forward with any information, no matter how small, that could lead to the arrest and conviction of the shooter.
