Friendship: A Friend in Need Is a Friend Indeed

Friendship Bonding Loyalty Interpersonal Relationships
It is said that life is the unique combination of success and failure,
smile and tear, sweetness and bitterness, brightness and darkness.
Hence, it can be said that duality is the real truth of life.
During the course of living life, a person meets many other persons.
The person forgets some of other persons. The person remembers some of
other persons as required for personal and professional necessities.
The person considers one of the other persons very special.
Slowly and gradually these two persons become very important for each other.
Both of them enjoy each other’s company.

They feel happy to help each other whenever needed. They share happiness
and sorrow together. As it is said that duality is the real truth of life, these
two persons experience sweetness as well as bitterness from each other’s
behavior. However, they try to ignore the bitterness and enjoy the sweetness
from each other’s behavior. They trust each other and try to be faithful to
each other. They feel happy to be honest to each other. They feel happy to
be affectionate to each other. Happily, they establish very close relationship
with each other. Such close relationship with mutual affection and
extremely strong interpersonal ties between two (or more) persons is called
“ friendship.” The persons who maintain such relationships are called
“ friends.”

way as he is related to himself, since, a friend is another self; and therefore,
just as his own being is choice-worthy for him, the friend’s being is
choice-worthy for him in the same or a similar way.”
