The Gourmet Food and Wine Expo is returning this year for another four days of fun and delicious tastings. The expo is being held in Toronto, Ontario and put on in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The Gourmet Food and Wine Expo will be held Nov. 20 to Nov. 23, 2014 and is one of the biggest food and drink events of the entire year in Canada.

This will mark the 20th anniversary of the Gourmet Food and Wine Expo. Four days of international foods and wine to taste not to mention excellent beers, cocktails that stand on the cutting edge, exotic dishes and so much more.

Not only does the event resemble a glamorous cocktail party where you can mingle with guests, industry guests and guests of the media but fellow food and wine lovers can taste over 1,800 selections of wine, spirits, beer and gourmet dishes from all over the world. For those who are very passionate, one can even have an almost personalized experience by checking out one of the many highlights for this years event. The return and anniversary of The Gourmet Food and Wine Expo is a must for all foodies.

Guests can purchase tickets to learn from industry experts who are at the top of their game when enrolled in The Tutored Testings Program. Guests who buy tickets for this event can not only enjoy the wine tastings but also learn about the wines body, intensity and clarity and legs. By attending this program, guests will learn the lingo of the grapevine and get an idea how to marry and pair up foods with proper wines. The Tutored Tastings Program tickets start at $65 depending on which tasting one chooses to as high as $150. All purchased tickets to the Tutored Tastings Program also receive an elite pass to the Expo.

Other highlights for the 20th anniversary of The Gourmet Food and Wine Expo include incredible entertainers and fabulous decor all through the four-day event by walking by The Central Stage. There is also going to be The Food Network Chef Stage where food lovers can get free demonstrations in cooking by famous celebrity Chefs as well as very talented local Chefs. For interactive alcohol tastings of spirits, wine and beer, guests can check out the #TrendCentral Stage. Bartenders of the Toronto area will showcase all that is new and happening in the cocktail scene at The Spiritology Pavillion. For international wine tastings in a more intimate and personal environment, wine lovers can go to The #VIP Vines InterVin Pavillion.

Other highlights include the All You Need Is Cheese Stage, Top 10 Trends and various entertainment highlights. There will also be a competition for those brave enough to try to stake claim to be the creator of Mott’s Best Caesar in Town National Competition.
