Regaining the Childhood Experience

Regaining the Childhood Experience

Childhood
When you are younger, you think you have everything planned out and you know the small details to every single event that may or may not happen in your life. You don’t worry about failure nor the bad days you might have because when you are younger growing up seems to be so much fun or so you thought. You have to remember the thought process of kids before they hit 10th grade, because that’s when social life starts to get harsher.

Then you hit High School and reality starts to sink in, things are beginning to be harder than what you thought they were supposed to be, people are becoming faker and friends are harder to come by. The worse part? Everything is being rushed now, you are supposed to know what exactly you want to do after High School, and if you make one mistake it may ruin you. Yep. I made way more than one mistake and it most definitely ruined me, and for a long time I have been stuck on not knowing what direction to go in, what path to take.

So, here I am sitting in my bedroom writing a tad bit and watching “Hart Of Dixie” before I decide it’s time for bed. I have a huge confession, and that would be that I still am slightly confused on what I want to be when I grow up. I know that I prefer to do something with writing, and I guess you would think that as a start but for someone hitting almost 30 years old, you would think I would have every detail in mind! If an elementary school student can plan their whole life within a matter of minutes, you would think someone my age would have things already on the go!

Sadly, I feel like I am not the only one that feels like this and I’m sure it’s many different reasons on why someone is stuck on what to do next. Rather they didn’t finish school, they were afraid to take chances or money issues were in the way, they didn’t get to complete a dream that they had yet. I find this to be difficult to accept, and very unfair to certain people, I think everyone should be able to do what they please for a career without doubting themselves in anyway!

So, let’s act like we are young again and let’s plan just as we would if we were children. The reason why I say children is because there is no such thing as defeat when it comes to goals and happiness. Are you ready? Let’s go!
